MINING HOPPER

We are currently offering used mining equipment for sale due to a surplus to requirements. The current mining hoppers we have on offer for sale are skid mounted units and as such can be moved with ease as required. The units can be set up with minimal foundations and can be used in a variety of applications such as:

  • Feeding Secondary equipment

  • Re-Feed material into plant

  • Temporary mill feed station

  • Truck loadout

Current units offered are fitted with belt feeders for discharge of material. The units do also have VSD control of the belt feeders for accurate control of discharged material.  They are supplied with an MCC enclosure locally manufactured to AS 3000.

P 101 Hopper Feeder VSD

Fleet Number P 101 feed hopper. This unit if fitted with extended hopper wings giving a feed width of some 3.8 M.

The discharge is a belt feeder 900mm wide. This unit is packaged up on a skid mounted frame and comes complete with an electrical MCC enclosure. A VSD is also fitted in the MCC allowing full speed control of the discharge belt.

Chassis and Hopper

Steel beam chassis structure which supports the main hopper. The whole frame is skid mounted for use on a flat hard prepared level surface. No foundations are required.

The hopper is fitted with spillage boards which give a feed opening at the top of the bin of 3.8  M Square.

Nominal bin capacity is 15 m3

Discharge conveyor

The Discharge conveyor is 900mm wide x 3.6 M long.

Head drum is 400mm dia and fitted with diamond rubber lagging. Tail drum is 375 mm dia.

Tail bearings are THMD 517 in a slide housing. Head drum bearings are SNU 517 Split housings.

The carry rollers are 127mm dia x 1000mm wide.

The discharge point of the hopper to the conveyor is fitted with a material discharge gate to allow control and flow of different size materials.

Discharge skirts fitted from transition of hopper to discharge point of the conveyor.

Conveyor if fitted with a 15 KW motor mounted to a Fenner shaft mounted reduction box.

Lanyards are fitted to both sided of the unit.

MCC Enclosure.

MCC includes mains in coming Isolator.

Drive for discharge conveyor. Drive for 1 x Stacker / stockpiler unit. The panel is also fitted with a sequence override switch.

Panel constructed and maintained by KES Electrical.  

Hopper Feeder VSD

Fleet Number P 94 feed hopper. This unit if fitted with extended hopper wings giving a feed width of some 5.4 M.

The discharge is a belt feeder 1200mm wide. This unit is packaged up on a skid mounted frame and comes complete with an electrical MCC enclosure. A VSD is also fitted in the MCC allowing full speed control of the discharge belt.

Discharge conveyor

The Discharge conveyor is 1200mm wide x 7 M long.

Head drum is 340mm dia and fitted with diamond rubber lagging. Tail drum is 320 mm dia.

Tail bearings are THMD 517 in a slide housing. Head drum bearings are SNU 517 Split housings. Shaft dia is 75mm

The carry rollers are 127mm dia. Side rollers are 365 wd and centre rollers are 900 mm wide.  

The discharge point of the hopper to the conveyor is fitted with a material discharge gate to allow control and flow of different size materials.

Discharge skirts fitted from transition of hopper to discharge point of the conveyor.

Conveyor if fitted with a 15 KW motor mounted to a Fenner shaft mounted reduction box.

A Marshalling box is fitted for ease of electrical connection for feeder and an outlet for a discharge conveyor.

Lanyards are fitted to both sided of the unit.
